Shutters are the most permanent of all window treatments — built to outlast the house. We work in real basswood, poplar, and a high-grade composite for wet rooms, and we finish every panel by hand.
Shutter styles
Plantation shutters
Wide louvres (2.5" to 4.5") for a clean, architectural look in living rooms and bedrooms.
Café shutters
Half-height shutters for kitchens and street-facing windows — privacy below, light above.
Solid panel shutters
No louvres, just panels. Best in heritage homes and bedrooms where total blackout matters.
Outdoor & door shutters
Bi-fold and sliding shutters for patios, plus shutter panels for French and entry doors.
Wood vs. composite vs. PVC
Hardwood
Lightest, finest grain, takes paint and stain beautifully. Best for living areas and bedrooms.
Composite
Engineered wood with a moisture-resistant finish. The right choice for kitchens and laundries.
PVC
100% waterproof and the most affordable. Built for bathrooms and pool rooms.
Frequently asked questions
- How long does an order take?
- Six to eight weeks from final measure to installation. Rush options are sometimes available — ask during your consultation.
- Are your shutters real wood?
- Yes. Our hardwood line uses kiln-dried basswood or poplar. We also offer a composite line for moist rooms.
- Do you handle removal of old blinds?
- We do — at no extra cost on consultations that proceed to installation.
- What's your warranty?
- A lifetime warranty on the shutter itself, including hinges and tilt rods, for as long as you own the home.
- Can I paint or stain after installation?
- We don't recommend it — our factory finishes are baked on and far more durable than any aftermarket coating.
